Questions for those with the SLP H.O. hood.

So, for those of you who have the SLP H.O. hood on your cars, did you have any problems with the hood fitting on your car? Did you have to do any work to the hood to make it fit right? I just bought one and went to get it fitted and it fit great along the side seams but the nose was completely wrong and there was no way to make it fit at all. Would you guys please share what you went through before you got the hood painted and put on your car? Thanks.

Hey 02IKND- I Have an H.O. hood and it was a little off when I prefitted it, but nothing that couldn't be fixed...all I had to do was adjust the headlight doors a bit so they would open w/the new hood on. I love the look now that I have it and would recommend it to anyone. Good luck!

mine was on the car when i bought it. but i think it was literally installed right before i bought it. the first time i used the headlights. they flipped up and the drivers side door caught the hood and scraped the crap out of it. i fixed that, but noticed the nose of the hood, doesnt line up with the nose of the bumper even though the hood lines on the sides were close to perfect. also it has a few blemishes in the surface, and along the seams on each side there are deformities that have arrisen since ive had the car. hopefully the wont get any worse. the overall look though is great.
