Pricey but cool-Guages??
Does anyone have or know of someone who actually shelled out 500.00$ bucks for some "Top of the line" Nexus Autometer guages ?? They have 7 diff. colors to chose from, remote , the works but kinda pricey. I am thinking about bitting the bullet and purchasing 3 of em along with a Valentine-1 police radar / laser detector. Thoughts about the guages, are they worth it??

500.00$ was for all three. I know thats still prices as hell but I figured I might as well do it right the first time. I blow about that much every few months on everyday bullshit anyway.

i took a look at them and they had some features i really liked... but the there is so much rice to them too... i mean they would be awesome if you set them to white and when you hit the shift light it went red... fing awesome... and i guess the start up on them is cool too... i dont think i would use the recal feature enought to pay for it... but then to be able to fade them to different colors... thats a bit much...
idk... they could be pure rice... or you could leave the fing remote alone and have some pretty sweet gauges...

Stock gauges are really nice. I think that startup sequence will get boring and you're the only one who can really see it. If you want to make startup more fun, get a push start button and save that money for performance or appearance that other people would see.
