Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Post pics of your vert
Get rid of the stock grille for sure. I think the black SLP grilles look best on the Camaro's.
If you are set on stripes, I would go with gloss black for sure.

I got a 2002 Z. The first thing I changed is the grille. The stripes look great. And for the tires GET the 315's. I got the 295's, made a mistake. Did not know I can get the 315's. But look around at pictures and see what appeals to your taste. I look at GM high tech alot. U wanna get a nice look, not too ricey!!!!!!!!!!!!

The billet grille isn't bad, especially if you can tie it into your theme. I prefer the SLP grille though, its a cleaner look IMO.
Stripes are not a bad idea at all, just keep it simple. Its easy to get overboard with stripes and kill the appearance of the vehicle.
The most important appearance mod to any vehicle is the wheels. If you have plans to get wheels in the future, I would concentrate on them first. Then you can build the rest of your appearance mods around the car and wheels.

im leaning strongly towards stripes i know i want em with the 1/4 in pinstripe on the inside and out but still unsure of a good width for the main stripes.... 6,8,or even 10 inches each.... oh so many options...lol.....

Keep it simple is the best way to go with an F body. Excellent quote!!!

Light Pewter Metallic- y2k 8-cylinder catfish
Definitely swap out that grille. Even for now, doing that alone will really wake up the front of your car. Here's a shot of mine.

i would love to get an ss style hood but im afraid that the paint shops around here wouldnt be able to get a good match on the pewter paint

To get the match they get the paint code from the door. I had a few things painted and never had a problem. Just get it from your door.

+1 for a grille swap. i have the slp grill right now and it looks ok, but i bought a stainless steel billet grille off ebay a while back and just haven't gotten around to installing it yet (hopefully this spring when the weather is nicer). another popular option for pewter camaros is filling in the rear hatch with black vinyl letters so the "CAMARO" logo really pops. check my cardomain site for before & after pics and you'll see what i mean. i've also considered adding some black racing stripes either on the side and/or on the hood. but i'd like to see pics of pewter cars who've had this done first before i commit to anything SO PEOPLE PLEASE POST UP SOME PICS!!!. and finally, yeah go check out y2k's page. it'l both inspire and depress you at the same time (depress because you know how much time/money will be required to get your car looking like his lol).

Red- 99 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28
just my 2 cents, if you were gonna do the gloss black stripes, and the slp bowtie grill, do a whistler mod to your headlights also. it would help pull the look of the front end together
