Panhard bar Dress up
Dunno if anyones really going to care about this but i got bored the other day so i pulled my Panhard bar because i had a neat idea to put a z-28 Emblem on it and this is pretty much how it all went down.
Cell phone pictures for now so bare with.
I think it turned out pretty neat. I pretty much found a picture of a emblem from a 70s 80s Camaro and printed it out about the size i thought i needed. Cut the center parts out. Then used a glue stick to glue it to the panhard bar and painted over the open sections in my ghetto stencil. After it dried i went at it with a wet wash cloth and a very sharp knife thats in the pictures to get rid of all the glue after i pulled the stencil off as well as scratch off all the extra paint. It ended up looking like it does in the last two pictures. I have since gone over it with hair spray then i polished and waxed it. Ill be going for some clear coat to go over it before i put it back in the car.

Coats it like if you paint something and itll keep it from fading or coming off until i can go nab some clear coat. It flakes off pretty easy.

I like it. I do odd shit like that all the time. It's called a.d.d. work, its an idea that you run with and your happy with it. I personally like it I would honestly do it to my car. But the only issue I have is why would you do that before the sfc?

I got bolt in sfc. I have access to a welder and have learned from messing around and wasting time. The things you can do go ahead and have fun with. I understand the hang ups I go through them all the time. I started with the "easy" stuff first. Keep up the good work learn as you go.
