    painting back of headlights

    Ok quick question. I'm doing some painting under the hood like the nose support and a few other little items. well I want to paint the headlights so how do these baby's come out? I don't want to mess up here and break them. thanks

    There is a 10mm bolt on the back of the headlight in the upper center. Remove that bolt and then slide the headlight out. It takes some maneuvering to get the headlight out, but its fairly simple. Be sure to remove both bulbs first.

    Well they are out and painted. and they look great IMO. And wow those lights are a bit tough to take out, now I just hope they go back in without me damaging my new paint. Thanks Y2KPewterSS for the help.

    dang just one bolt cool............it looked like more than that. Should high temp paint be used ?

    maxwhacks and I used black gloss vinyl

    worked waaay better than using black rattle can

    but Y2K is the exception, everything he does is flawless
