    painted grille

    i put an aluminum billet grille on my car and decided to paint it black. i used 3 coats of flat black with 3 coats of clearcoat protectant, but the paint still chips off after a day or two of driving. any suggestions?

    Paint will never hold up. You need to have it powder coated.
