    Painted exhaust....

Got bored today and decided I wanted to paint my exhaust, I think it came out great. Now its just a matter of time to see how long before it all gets scraped off (damn Texas roads ). What ya'll think?--Tony

Used an engine block paint with ceramic in it. Says it will withstand 500 degree temps, we shall see on that though.--Tony

yeah, I painted the axle back on mine with what sounds like the same paint. It was duplicolor 500* flat black. It lasted for about 1 month until it started to bake off. They make a 1200* paint also. I'm planning on trying it again here shortly. It does look good painted.

Your exhaust shouldn't get much hotter than that (500*).

Looks good, but I would have had them powder coated myself.
