    Question Old tint glue

So i peeled some old ass tint off a back window but it left some ancient paste like film over the defrogers, my question is how do i remove that without ruining the wires from the defroger?

Remove any residual adhesive with ammonia and very fine steel wool, then wipe the surface with a paper towel before it dries.

Never tried it on tint, but 3M makes an adhesive remover that you can buy either in spray or liquid that works great.

He basically sprayed ammonia on the window after removing the film and placed the trash bag on, let it sit in the sun for 15-20 mins to get hot but not dry out the ammonia and then carefully peeled the trash bag back off.
