Noobly here with a Y2K WS6
Hello all-
I bought my Y2K black WS6 zam back in Dec of Y2K. I also got back into motorcycling that same year, and blah blah blah...I never drove the zam that much.
I now live up in the frontrange of the Rockies, at 8500'. We have snow/ice up here about 6 mos/year, and with the twisty, sandy canyon roads I take to work (not to mention the deer/elk threat), the zam sees daylight about 5x/year. She's got about 44K on her now.
Unfortunately, my big old (14 yrs old when it happened, he's since passed) black lab freaked out during a thunderstorm, and literally ate his way into the garage while I was at work, and apparently tried to climb on top of the car. He wound up leaving scratch marks all around the belt line of the car--tried to buff them out gently with some polishing compound, but they're too deep.
Since the car is really of no use to me up in the mtns (and the fact that I've got an ugly driving record due to the motorcycle fetish, so I get raped on insurance), I'm planning on selling the old girl. I'll need to get her repainted tho. I was thinking about keeping her black, but adding a silver "V" on the hood, bounded by the end of tangencies of the ram air snouts (so everything between the snouts will be silver, tapering to a point probably about midway down the front fascia). I've searched the net, but can't seem to find anything close. Has anyone seen a simple paint scheme like this?
TIA

Keeping it stock on the repaint would probably be worth more
