New Fender

Some one backed into my drivers side fender while I was at class and just left, so i have to fix the fender myself

It messed the fender up pretty good, like a fist sized chunk was broken out of the center and cracks all through the fender. So rather than getting an OEM fender or fiberglassing this one I was looking on ebay and some place called Pershing Auto was selling fenders and said if you gave them your cars color code they'd even paint the it for you, only $175+ shipping. Was wondering if anybody had painted parts sent to them? Does this painted fender sound like a good deal? Any input is appreciated.

I bought a fender on ebay that was painted with the OEM color. Came out pretty good. No complaints here. Also, it was for a Honda Accord. I don't think I'd go that route for a TA or Camaro. Well, at least not painted from ebay.

I think it depends on what color your car is. I ordered a front nose fascia painted from a company on eBay for $250 shipped. Looks just as good as the rest of the car, but my color is black, which is relatively easy to match. NBM probably isn't too bad to match, but I would be weary if I wanted red or SOM.

Ok thanks, did you guys have any fitment issues with the fender/fascia?

My Camaro nose fit very well. My car now gives new meaning to "hybrid". The original nose was made in Canada. My new one says "Made in Taiwan" on the inside.

I had no idea you could order body parts and get them painted before they sent them. Thats awsome!!!! Gotta love Ebay~

Here's the link to what I bought on ebay. Granted, my car is by no means car show material, but the finish on it was just as good as the rest of the car.
