    New Duraflex SS Hood

    Finally got my sons hood painted and installed this week. It looks good from about 5-10 feet but when you get close you can see why these hoods are sold in the $250-$300 range (before shipping). He is happy so that's all that really matters. We are gonna try our hand at installing a Manta decal this weekend to see how that might look, if it doesn't work we plan to get it painted on. Anyway, here are a couple quick shots we took with my iPhone. The paint actually matches a lot better than in that first shot, must of been the angle.

    Duraflex hoods are POSs, it's what I have on mine. It'll take hours and hours of work to get then somewhat straight. I'll be redoing mine this summer because it's still a lil wavy

    His is too a little but it is what it is. If I run across a good deal on a factory SS hood I may grab it but it's good for now.
