I too have been considering repainting them either back to Satin Black and Gloss Black like they were originally or going the route of Red and Gloss Black.

Take a look at a Yellow Z06 and what do you see. Yup, a Yellow car with Red calipers. Do they look good? Heck yes they do!
I actually think that Red Calipers can go with any color as Red it seems is common for High Performance types of calipers.

I will probably go about redoing my calipers sometime this summer. I'll have to sand off a lot of paint and then I want to smooth out the forge lines and add some Silver decals and hi temp Gloss over it all.

Whatever you decide, remember it can always be changed if you don't like it.
I like the yellow man... Looks sharp on our cars... I have been considering the yellow but i wish i could get an exact match color...Ill keep trying and see what i come up with...But im still fond of the red...And yes i did look at the ZO6 and i think it looks perfect on the yellow but the chrome rims do help abit... I've also been thinking that i could polish the caliper to match the polished lip on the rim and black out the rest to match the rim it self...I dunno i gotta get paint soon cuz my breaking package will be here this week and i would like to have them done so i can just slap everything on......

Not too many. I know there is a guy with a Firehawk that goes to SLU and also a teacher at SLU that has a CETA(its always dirty, though) A few WS6's here and there but thats about it.

Ever since Fbodies started to get stolen frequently in the N.O. and B.R. areas, I no longer do any shows there. The only ones I do now are local cruise ins. One here in Hammond the 2nd Saturday of the month at the Hobby Lobby parking lot on Hwy 190(West Thomast St.) and the one in Ponchatoula every 3rd Saturday at the Car wash depot on Hwy 22. (its hosted by the Northshore mustang club so there are A LOT of stangs there, gotta represent the bird community!). I'm usually at those and of course im difficult to miss, ahha. Maybe you can come out to one.

So i see the majority are leaning toward the red and polished.....Now if i could only decide which on i like better.....I think i like the red better because its alot less work then polishing the shit out of the calipers but whats the process to polish the calipers and how long does it take???
