Modded center console
Tired of that plastic bit that moves with the shifter vibrating all the damn time so I bought a leather boot from a grand prix. It will be going in the car as soon as soon some of the glue dries, and clean it up a bit.

That does look good. Details on what you did? You mentioned glue in your original post and this has me curious. Will await installed pics.

Well I heard the grand prix center console fit in the same location so I got one over on ebay only to find it doesn't-at least the one I got. Stock the boot is glued to the underside of the grand prix console so I did the same. When I put it back in the car the boot was to tall so I cut some off the bottom and almost took to much off. R-2 is good with P AND 1 being a little tight. When I get the chance I am going to look at the auto c5's and see what they look like. At least it didn't cost me anything (gift card), more pics coming when it gets light out.

So it's done, if I find another boot I might secure the next one by putting small screws in the white plastic piece. The grand prix console as you can see has some little circles on the side where it was originally glued. Not to pretty on the inside but the outside is what matters right?
