license plate cover

i have seen quite a few of the licnse plate covers where the trans am lights up in the middle of it. Can anywhere tell me where i can get this at?

I don't think theres any actual companys that make them. as far as I know they're all custom with LED's.

you have to start with a clear cover, then light it up from behind. They are all custom

so do i just cut out the spots i want lit up or do i need to buy a clear one

I've only seen it done on the clear ones. You mask the part where you want the light to come through, then paint it. The light will then shine through the parts that were masked off. They are available at Afterthoughtsauto.com
