    Interior Cleaning Project

Well, I got bored sitting around the house this morning, so I thought I would clean the interior of the car. After 4 hours, I'm .52 richer from coins I found under the seats, and I have a clean carpet again. I did find some rust on the bottom of the rear seats and couldn't get the stain out, but oh well, no one can see it right.....Here are some pictures I took while I was working.

    and the finished product

My floor mats are hideous, so I'll be getting some new embroidered mats soon.

I used Tuff Stuff and my carpet steam cleaner with hand held attachment.

I got to do that to my carpet. I go to many fast food places almost 3-4 times a week and i used to used use the cup holder next to the glove box, the one that swings ou. Well, my mistake of taking a turn to fast and splash, their goes all the soda right into my carpet. I use a rag and soaked up a lot but the dame stain is still a bit visable not much and in tiny spots but i got to remove the seats to really get them clean.

How difficult was is to remove the driver seat? And trick to remove the driver seat?

Just remove the two back nuts and disconnect the power cable. On the front of the seat, there is a plastic cover held on by a phillips head screw on each side. Remove these to expose the two nuts holding the seat down in the front. Lift the seat and you're done. No tricks at all.

I didn't remove it, but there are bolts inside the arm rest console piece. Look for other bolts.
