    Makes me want to try and clean mine...it's a DD,so it looks like ass right now.

    Mike--mine's a DD ---once you get it clean it's not that hard to keep it that way. my car hAS 81,000 and is driven in the winter.

    Wow, that's impressive. I guess I COULD do that to mine then, given the time and ambition. And I actually have less miles than you, 75K on mine.

    Any tips or products you recommend to keep it looking that clean?

    I used Dawn around the fender wells . If you engine is real dirty you may have to use an engine wash. I masked off the engine and clear coated all the painted areas. Now just a damp rag cleans it dust off. Sometimes I just use a Swifter.

    I have 3 different battery covers---they were not on the car when I took the pics----I have fuse box covers also
