How much would these carbon fiber parts reduce your car weight?

How much weight should I expect to lose with these carbon fiber items(each):

    Hatchback
Outer part of the doors switched to carbon fiber
Outer part and panels switched to carbon fiber
    Hood

    It's a 94 z28 if that helps/matters.

You're looking at a lot of money with little loss.

Hood is the biggest thing, you'll shave off about 40 lbs, hatch could be huge if you switch out to lexan as well, but otherwise the SMC fiberglass body parts don't carry much weight.

The money wouldn't be worth it to me...I could think of better ways to spend what those parts would cost.

Sorry to go OT, but Prowler...I ran into you tonight on Ocean Blvd (Red 98 TA)...send me an email ( nightechnologies@gmail.com ) new on LS1 and it doesn't let me PM...I'll be back down in a month or so, maybe with the Z

Not worth the cost. Just spend it in mods. It'll make it worthwhile

the stock hood weighs a TON, i replaced my z28 hood with a plastic aftermarket ss hood and it saved at least 40 lbs, i mean you can actually tell it launches better. and i got hood, both bumpers and 2 front fenders for $350 gotta love ebay. only thing is make sure they're the right parts...apperently the geniouses at gm changed not the looks, but the mounting points throughout the years (rear bumper)
