how to clean tinted windows?

my front windshield and side windows are pretty grimy and in need of a good cleaning. but i'm pretty sure i once came across a thread somewhere that said people with tints shouldn't use windex or anything with ammonia in it cause that would ruin the tints? so i went to the supermarket and got a can of those "all purpose interior" wiping sheets....which streaked like a bitch and now it looks so much worse. can anyone give me some tips on what to use to get a streak free shine w/o messing up my tints?

I use Invisible glass in the spray can with newspapers on my tint and it works real good.

like waxing: the surface should be buffed once it is cleaned to pick up all the hazey shit. Don't forget-if it's hot out, you're eFed...make sure the car/glass is cool or you'll streak it terribly and really have to wrestle with it
