    Thumbs up HID lights on 1998-2002 Camaro

    Hi all;

    I am thinking of having these installed on my 2001 Camaro, would like to hear any tips that could be given about the systems (35W or 55W) any problems with the PCM detecting voltage problems, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    I haven't heard anything about voltage issues. What I have heard is some people having bubbling issues because of the heat created by 55w's. Is not all the case but it happened to some people. I have been using 35w's in my lows and fogs for about 2 months now and not a single problem.

    Im sorry 01Ssracing I didn't noticed you have a camaro. I'm not completely sure if those are the bulb sizes. I did it in my TA but I had to buy new headlights and it used those bulb sizes. Im sure a camaro owner will chime and confirm the right HID bulb sizes. In my TA they were direct plug in.

    yup those are the correct bulb size for stock headlights. the only time the bulb will not be a 9006 on a camaro is if you have the sonar projector headlights. those are H1 bulbs.
    fog lights are correct also with the 880 bulb.

    yup that easy. its like changing out a bulb. please note that when you install your hid's lets say they don't turn on change the wires around on the ballast.

    Agreed. Every kit I have had I needed to reverse the wires. Also, I needed a harness for the fog lights. They would flicker and wouldn't always both turn on until I got power directly from the battery.
