    Help with spoiler fitment

I picked up this ss spoiler yesterday. Got a really good deal on it so I cant complain to much. The spoiler itself fits great. When I was installing it with the hatch up I was actually suprised how tight it fit. Then the fun came. When I closed the hatch I noticed that the spoiler sat about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch below the top of the qrtr panel. Basically the spoiler is too short on the sides. I have a couple of ideas about how to make it work but I was wondering if anybody had some input. I plan on buying a oem spoiler one day but I want to try to make this one work for now. Thanks in advance.

I'd return it.. Or try to find or fab up some spacers for it. But from the looks of it, I'd say it's defective maybe why it was so cheap..imho

Suggestion: If you are particularly irritated by another member's posting habits and are constantly fighting the urge to flame them, you can click on that person's profile, and select "Add to ignore list." This will make that person's posts invisible to you.

I got it from a private seller so returning it isn't an option. I was thinking of making some wedged spacer out of some rubber. The bottom is going to be black when I'm done anyways so I figured it wouldn't look too bad until I can get an oem one. Thanks for the input.
