Help!

I have a stock red 98 trans am. I want to focus on appearance for now and performance later on. I have about $450 laying around to spend. I have no idea what to use it on, so i was hoping yall would have some ideas.

I would suggest building up your nest egg. There are many appearance mods out there for our cars. If you can save around a grand, try for some rims and tires to make your bird stand out. Remember the old saying

"You can do whatever you want to your car...it all depends on how much you are willing to spend."

That saying has remained in my head since my high school auto shop class.

vht tail lights and side marker lights? $40? sandpaper,vht, and def subframe connectors. take off your insignias, and shopping cart moulding. thats free. get the vinyl inserts for your pontiac in the rear bumper. $15. still have money for a shiny strut tower brace. and the wire mod is free.

Red trans ams are my favorite. I would do the Ceta mod black inserts on the rear PONTIAC peice. Blackbird stripes (if you got the ram air) and some TTM the gray centers.

Try the ceta and rear inserts, that shouldnt cost much. Get a new shift knob or something. but remember if you look fast and can't back it up, You might as well be a ricer lol jk but 450 is almost enough for headers boss.
