Have you repair paint chips or rock chips?
I got some significant size chips on my DD and would like to try to fix them my self, any tips or how tos out there?

This was how the body shop fixed mine once.
I have made several repairs myself since then without problems.
Clean out the chip first.
Paint and let dry.
Sand smooth if needed.
Hit it with a clear spray to taper it out and make the repair hold.

There are two highly recommended ways that a novice to chip repair should follow. One is the Dr. Colorchip technique and the other is the Langka technique. Both will only work if you follow the manufacturer's instructions to the letter. If not, your results with be less than stellar.
The Dr. Colorchip method is faster but both work as advertised.
