To hash or not to Hash that is the question

Ok maybe the topic is a little corny, but I experimented with some stripes this weekend, so I ask you. do the hash marks stay or do they go ?

What year vette did they first appear on , any one know?

I liked the hockey sticks too, but they started shrinking, and the glue was showing around the edges, I thought about getting some more but I dont really know who to order them from, any suggestions.

it is only one year. and one car, and one package. the 1996 corvette Grand Sport.

it was a a blue car with a big thick white stripe, and the red hashes on the driver side fender only I believe.

its just me......but I hate lop-sided things.....I think the car should be symetrical with graphics

my vote is for the bottom picture. the classic hockey stick stripes just looks really badass on camaros

are you gonna put somthin like "z28" or "LS1" in the big part of the stripe? I have seen that. it looks good

Those makes the car look wider, more muscular

Below makes the car look longer and sleeker. I like the top ones, actually.

Hockey stripe. Leave the hash marks for the Grand Sports.

I like the GS stripes and the second ones you had. The hockey stripes just don't look right on alot of cars. Most of its because the way there made. I don't like how they come straight up at the front, but the wheel well arches in and changes the gap. Makes it look bad in most cases.

Yes and no. It was the only Corvette that you could BUY that had the hash marks, but they originally appeared on the Corvette Grand Sport race cars in 1963.

Either way though, they don't belong on F-Bodies.
