Im working on a HID kit for LS1 model Trans Am's. As of yet tho i have not completed it yet it's probably going to cost me 1000-2000 to do so but it will be better then the stock light in my opinion here take a look at the rough draft drawing that I have check it out >>>> I kinda stole the Idea from the C6 Corvette but if I can get it the way I want It will be one of a kind.

I replaced all my lights with HID, and let me say, you need some sort of glare-shield. I am in the process of making one.
I ordered the h4 sealed-beam housings from eurolights and bought highs, lows, and fogs.
The fogs actually died after about 2 weeks, because they flash with the doors/remote. I need to buy new bulbs and build a timer circuit to preven them from flashing. HID bulbs DO NOT like being flashed often.
Anyways, I get flashed by oncoming traffic about 75% of the time, so I avoid driving at night right now. For this to work right, I will have to build a reflector that goes along the bottom of the bulb and reflects light straight up. This will cut off the light that ends up coming out and going up, into oncoming driver's eyes.
I feel bad everytime I have to drive at night, and I am working to fix it right now...

If you look on the owners manual I think you can set the car so the lights don't flash when you push the button

Well I want the lights to flash--just not the fogs.
It will be a piece of cake to make a circuit to protect the fogs... when my alarm blinks on the fogs, they will stay on 60 seconds before turning back off... then when I turn off the car, I will make them stay on for 120 seconds to light my path into the house.

How are you going to wire the circut?

LOL you gota know low voltage. There are tons of things you can do with out the damn BCM and with it to trigger other things. Wish radio shack still carried that crap. he can use the BCM's activation of the circuit to activate a delay timmer that feeds power to the light for what ever time it is programable for.

Were I live all THE SHACK as they are calling it now carries is some basic switches, led stuff, micro relays and wire. they have not carried anything to do with thier name near me in 2 years. all they really have are cell phones, computer keyboards and Ipod crap. Oh yea and micro remote control cars. I have driven all over my county and can't find a true electronics store that hasn't closed, requires a membership or a low voltage license to buy anything. GOT LOVE IT!!! I used to work for ADT so all I had to do was wave my Fire systems badge in front of them and no problem but you can't renew it unless you have a low voltage license or work for someone that dose and mine expiered 4 years ago when I got laid off.

My 55w kits are ridiculous. I hope you have projectors SUVs are the worst offenders too. I had to aim mine about 30ft in front of the car... Only way to not blind.

People are just more sensitive to all light since the HID's came out. I have an 07 Tundra stock hight and I get flashed all the time with stock bulbs. I love it cuz then I really nail um. lol
