    gauge lights

    has anyone replaced the gauge lights on a 97 trans am with the ls style gauge cluster with a different color i would really like to see a write up on this if someone has.

    There are a few write ups on here and Tech, just use the search function. Also, if you are talking about changing the lights using your stock gauge face, you will need to first sand off the colored "strips" on the back of the overlay...which are red! This applies only to Pontiacs, whereas the Camaros didn't have the strips on the back.

    Your other option is to get a Gauge Overlay, completely remove the original and then put some LED's behind them. You can get them from Macewen, 6LE (sponsor on here and over on tech), or other places.
