    Fuel rail covers

    Anyone know where I can find fuel rail covers that dont say Corvette? That is all I can find except cheap ass looking carbon fiber ones on ebay.

    Theres actually a shitload of them on Ebay. Theres one set that says Monaro, and theres a couple others that have things like a Bowtie on them.

    It would appear Afterthoughts gets them from TheCheckeredFlagStore. Thats probably why the turnaround is 4+months.

    No, not at all. Anyone with a little mechanical aptitude can do this in a few minutes time.

    Yes, it requires moving a couple things under the hood, but nothing major.
    1) The wire bundles on the fuel rails have to be moved to below the tubing.
    2) The throttle cable bracket on the top/rear of the intake manifold has to come off. Requires a 10mm socket to take the nut off of the stud.
    3) The tape-wrap around the fuel lines has to be removed up to at least the fitting, but most people remove it all the way.

    Everything else is simply push & make room until they sit in place.

    all this is true--just watch your hands on those cowl rivets --they rip the crap out of your hands
