Finally painted rear panel
Well ive been wanting to do this for a while and im very happy with the way it turned out. The back was boring and thought id do a little something to make it stick out a bit. Its a love it or hate it thing, i know but i love it. I was gonna put on exhuast tips as well but decided the stockers looked better then the ones i was putting on and left it as is. Its painted black with clear and the camaro lettering is in white, got a couple of pics and one pic of how it was before not the best pics but all i got so far.

I like it. As a matter of fact, I just bought the Manta Stripe kit in black and I was thinking about doing the back panel myself.
Time to get the red out

Thanks KahanaReef, you should do it. It will make your car stand out a bit more.

I wasnt sure if i should leave it just the way it is or put the bow tie and the Z28 emblem back on the car. I kinda like it the way it is i test fitted it with the stock emblems and it didnt look right to me, i dont know.

Well, just leave if off for a while and you can always add it later. Or, you can add it and if you don't like it... you can take it off. Wait a good while to let the paint cure real well though.
I also got the black CAMARO overlays for the back. So, I'll probably put those on and see how I like it. If I want more, I'll do the panel and get the white overlays like yours.
I think it would look good, too. But, there is something to be said for a little at a time... and then making a choice

For now im gonna leave it emblem free and see if i can find a perfect emblem that will go either drivers or passenger side, underneath the tailight just not sure yet.

Nice job. Looks cleaner without the emblem IMO.

Looks nice!
If you do rebadge it, I'd go with old school Z28's But no badges is cool too

Thats what ive been afraid of, around my area as well cops love to pull you over for tints. Hell i was driving down the street with both my windows rolled down, cop pulls me over and says roll up your window and gives me a fix it ticket for tints on my last camaro. Pretty common thing in Socal.
