Fiberglass SS hood
My buddy can get me a fiberglass SS hood for $140. The only problem is he said that since it's fiberglass I have to get rid of my hood support shocks. Is that true cause I really don't wanna do that but even on Ebay the fiberglass hoods sell for 4 or 500.

Don't true SS's have hood struts? If they do just order the struts for a SS...they should be a little weaker so it's easier on the hood.
