    fiberglass hood?

    i know there is a ss and a cowl verion, but is there a z28 /stock looking hood that is just lighter, my stock hood is heavy and will want to go with the fiber hood only if it looks stock, im mean with no ss look or cowl, i just am trying to save weight off the from of the car, and also planning on the tubular k member,
    and how much lighter would the hood be?

    ok i have been thinking and i might go with a 2 inch cowl hood, anyone have pics with this hood on a silver z28, wouln't the cowl allow more air to vent out of the engine bay compared to the steel factory hood, not really expecting power gains from it but if the engine bay is give or take 20 degrees cooler that could prolong electronic components life and pick up a little power off the line since less heat sink is present.
