A few Q's. About to paint Ls6 manifold and coils

And I tried painting one coil, but didnt turn out so great. it orange pealed. What are the steps/ i know I would have to use the adheisive promoter, but do they get sanded too? thanks guys. if anyone has a painted manifold feel free to post a pic and give me tips. thanks!

I didn't sand my coil packs at all Luis. I did use adhesion promoter though.

You probably want to start with 400 for the intake, 800, 1200, 1600, and finish with 2000.

The more I think about it, I think I used a scotchbrite pad to scuff them up and then put adhesion promoter down. It was a real hot day when I did mine, and I got lucky, the paint laid down real nice. Try the scotchbrite pad though, I am 99% sure thats what I did to mine.
