    engine wire mod

    anyone done it an how hard is it how long did it take an what tools am i going to need

    You'll need a power drill, and a 1.25" bit.
    Unhook all the lines, jack up the car, remove the tire and fender liner. Drill the hole from the inside the well on the back of the strut tower. Optional: paint the hole with touch up brush so it doesn't rust. Route the wires through the hole you made, route the other end beneath the hood support near the front-reconnect them and reinstall everything.

    sounds like a 4 hour mod an a pain but looks so much cleaner

    Super easy...it took me a day, but I was battling rust at the same time, so yeah...





















    The I didn't take a picture of it, but I wrapped the wires in electrical tape for water protection.

    does it not leave a huge bump in the wheel well when you put the cover back on

    No, the plastic is stronger than the wires.

    Negative, there is enough room between the cover and wheel well for the wire harness.
