Door Trim

What is the best method of removing the exterior door trim? I have some fishing wire but wanted to make sure this was the best method. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

thats what i used with a drop of water. you just have to be carfull or you can cut the trim with the fishing line.

Yep, I def did but, I wasn't intending on putting it back on. There are tons of threads on here about removing door trim though.

you could also use a plastic putty knife and tape the end with masking tape fishing line works well too and when you get it off you can use a Eraser Wheel (you can buy it at a auto body tools shop or online) to get the excess double sided tape (make sure you don't sit in one place too long or you could burn the paint) it will make your remaining double sided tape cleanup go a lot faster (it only too me about 15 min with the eraser wheel) then all you have to do is clean it (wax & grease remover works well) and then wax.
