for those who have done the ceta mod without removing the bumper, how did you go about spraying the paint towards the underside of the car, or did yall have it up on a jack stand or a lift?

I took mine off to paint it. Much easier to paint and it was easy to remove.
I used a flat black with clear coat...
I like it

pretty easy to leave it on too... lol doesn't really matter... but why flat black with clear coat? kind of defeats the purpose of "flat" -- clear makes the flat black into gloss black... but anywho to each their own. i've done it to multiple trans ams and took less than 30 mins with taping and untaping.

flat was the only flexible paint I could find.
I wanted to do it right then and didnt feel like searching for gloss so I said screw it

i gotcha man. i used 3M rubberized spray for my first trans am. then for the 2nd used dupont bumper paint. both were flat black... just the 3M was textured sort of and the dupont was smooth. also used the 3M on all my car's inner fenders to make clean up easy and looked nice

Could one of you guys that have performed the CETA mod do a "how to" write up on it? I could include it in the sticky up top that way for future references.

got it all done like last week, but as i was slowly peeling the tape off, i got some good looking orange peel action! so, i had to go buy a black paint pen, try to fix it up a little bit. overall it looks real good, but once you get to within 6" yoiu can tell where the pen meets the spray paint.......wanna put yup some pics, how do i do it?
