Do you have multiple dents in rear quarter panel?
I got em, I can post pics if needed, but I got several (4 on one side) and it's such an eye sore for me. I can't be putting down more than 340-350 and i only got drag radials. I hear this is from body flex and I got sfc's but I guess they weren't enough. Does anyone have these?
Also, I park in the back of the parking lot, no way these are door dings, i've never parked near anyone.

After a little research I guess they can come from wheel hop. I know I had horrible traction issues before my nittos, so I'm guessing that's where they came from, they look like complete ASS and i'm so down...my car is no where near what I want it to look like...

My rear quarter panels have their fair share of dimples....they look very similar to the ones in the pics above and I can attest that they are difficult to photograph (as they are only little waves in the panel).
Fortunately, it hasn't got much worse since installing the SFC's. That being said, I've done a TON of modding since installing the SFC's and I still have street tires on the car, so the tires simply spin cleanly where they used to wheel hop down low.2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.

resurrecting an old thread a bit, but I noticed a few small ripples in my quarter panel and searched "quarter flex" and found a few threads...
i took a few quick pics with my cell phone after work, it's a little hard to tell, but there are small waves in the paint, and a very small dimple also (about 1/16 of an inch maybe?)
are these in fact the quarter panels flexing? it's only on the passenger side right now, but i'm worried about it happening to the driver's side also. plus, i'm going to the track next week, and i don't really want anything to get worse.
from what i've read i guess its just something all f-body owners may or may not have to deal with at one point or another. and it's only really noticeable if i specifically point it out
EDIT: photobucket is showing them nowLast edited by Poppn; 06-17-2008 at 08:15 PM.

Thats pretty much where mine are located too. Both sides. No one would notice mine unless i pointed them out either, but if you look at it from the front and a little off to the side you see em easy.
I'm not gonna putm put around in the car so keep em away....if it happens, it happens.

yea, they are noticeable, but it's really only because i know that theyre there and where they are.
do SFC help eliminate the flex? i can't afford them now, but it seems like a very worthwhile investment nonetheless.

I have them too along the top of the Qtr panel. What's the best way to access them to push them out?
