I know the dash pad for my 95 Camaro is $250 new. I was very careful when removing to install a scanmaster. I didn't break it but did learn how it is installed. If your T/A is anything similar, it is held in place by a few screws and industrial grade Velcro like squares. I used a long wooden dowel to dislodge them but I think if you already have a crack it won't be possible to get the pad off safely to fix it from behind. There are dash cover kits but from the pictures, they make the dash look like something out of the dumb & dumber pet grooming van.

Ebay has replacement dashes for 150 bucks. I was gonna get a dash cover but dont see the point when I can replace the dash the right way. My dash looks like it got hit with a hammer.

What did they do make them out of shag carpetting? The right color will help quite a bit when picking one of those covers. They don't stay on very well.
