OK, Thats what I thought, BTW I found another pic of my engine bay, and edited my engine bay post.

I am going to do a couple of write up posts with step by step pics and captions ,when I have more time.

I tried it about 3 weeks ago and it went well, but there was a bit of paint that got into the inner part that stays chrome.I couldn't find a way to fix it.I used nail polish remover and it started taking the chrome paint off.SUCKS! oh well.

I used vinyl the same type used for graphics, and trimmed it out.
no mess...no fuss...no drying time.

when i did my whistler mod, i taped just the very back of the mirrored surface, taped with regular painters tape.took wet dry sand paper to the chrome part i wanted painted first, then shot it black with the fusion paint for plastic.. turned out awesome

Yup, it was a compliment. Only reason I was asking if it was your car is because your signature on your profile said that you had an SS. I was confused then, but your sig. has changed.

I am sorry for the confusion I trade these cars like for extra money, and have owned 3 silver cars. the current car happens to be an o2 Z/28 with 32k miles.
I am sort of partial to it ...BUT... it is for sale also.
