Ceramic coated header rust?

So, I have had my Hooker LT now almost 2 years, I have never had to re-torque anything, I have no leaks, but the ceramic coating on the underside especially is coming off. Is this normal for you guys who have headers on your dailey driver? Up top is some minor surface flaking and some minor small rust spots. I guess I was under the impression ceramic coating would last 5 years or so, maybe I should have spent the extra $$$ for stainless?

the coting will not last forever as you know but it last less time if thay are going to see daily duty. if its a dd go stanlless on the next time around.

Ceramics rust. I had a set on my truck that you wouldn't ever guess they were ceramic. One winter and all the coating was gone. Most DD's that only see summer time usually last 2-4 years before the coating starts to come off. Stainless is the way to go if you don't want to look at rust.
