Camaro SS hood
I found someone who is selling their 98' Camaro SS hood for a good price, and I just wanted to see if anyone knows if it will go on my 00' Z-28 with no problem. I have always wanted the SS hood with the scoop because of the aggressive look. Right on for the info.

ARCTIC WHITE- 2002 35TH ANNIVERSARY Z28
Shouldn't have any problems. Just keep in mind if it is an aftermarket one it may not fit perfect. But it will still fit.

Black- 00 camaro ss M6 #6695
If it is original ss hood will fit perfect. I got one on mine fits with no problms. If it's aftermarket fits okay but u will have clearence problems n u r not gonna like it. Cuz I bought 2 b4 the one I g
have now n it was da samething.
They both look the same. Bt u have to spend time to make it fit right.
Same with ss wing dnt buy it after market cuz it harder to make it fit I spnt the whole day workin on I n still didn't fit. I paid $160 for it. I sold it for $200 lol n I bought a original used slp ss wing for 250. It was worth it

I bought the ss hood this weekend(it is an aftermarket), and there was a couple little holes and a crack which can be filled. I still have to cut the hood scoop open to make it functional, put some filler, re-primer it, paint it, then put on clear coat, and hopefully it will be worth all the work because I didnt want to spend the money on a factory hood.

Yeah that looks perfect on your maro, did it come with the grille piece because I cant really see it from the picture? How does that grille piece stay on because im planning on buying one after I have the scoop cut open to make it functional. I haven't got the chance to see it up close on an SS hood and I'm wondering if it is tape or glue that keeps the grille piece in.
