Navy Blue Metallic- 2001 camaro SS A4
Caliper color on NBM
Sorry I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I couldn't find anything on Navy Blue Metallic. I hear red looks good on brakes, but on a blue car?? So what color should I go with. I also don't have the time right now to Polish them. I'm thinking silver or maybe NBM or whats your option?

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I was lurking when you posted
Doubtful that I will be out this weekend. I am helping a friend swap his tan interior out for ebony and I have a few other chores to take care of myself tomorrow. I heard you can't park at Sonic anymore anyways
How is your car and foot been doing?

You have to sit at the tables or they start yelling. The foot is better, but now I have to go to work. That was a good two month vacation. The car is doing good, it got two rear tires last week, and brakes this week. I went with Firestone Fire hawk Wide Ovals and Hawk pads and keeping the rotors I already have.

If it was me I would polish them. Thats what I did to mine and so far they are my favorite appearance mod

I don't like my calipers to stand out, so I painted my calipers black and the brackets silver.

Once i get around to it i'm going to polish mine and paint the brackets yellow and put a yellow decal on it. But i agree with you that either silver or NBM would look goo if you dont want to go the polished route.

I'm new to all of this but what kind of paint do you use? I've seen caliper paint but is there really a difference?

Caliper paint has ceramic in it. The ceramic helps the paint withstand the heat. Engine paint should work also.

Bright Red- 1999 Trans Am Ws6
I just ordered the z06 corvette brake conversion kit for the front on my car, they are going to be red, so painting my rear ones read to match. Went with G2 High Performance Caliper Paint, duplicolor is shit.
Serious question now that I am in with so much money, can slotted rotors be turned?
