    Black rear panel or not?

I like the black panel in the back of the Berger SS editions. I guess the question is do I paint mine or get a new panel. I work at a GM dealership so I can get it done cheap..... I just can't decide to do it or not. I like pictures I see, but I am also more of a stock-looking car person..... I dunno.... just something to toss around while I get through the winter....

Buy the 2nd panel. That way you can have both and keep your stock panel in case you want to go back. That's what I did

To answer the question. It's better if you buy a second one and paint it your self for cheap.

If your car was not an Anniversary Edition, I would say "yes". So, I'm with Jon on this one -- no can do.

+1 keep the original...you can always swap it back if you plan to sell

however i do prefer the black panels and im not much of a stocker guy... but being a 35th i can see why either way. sharp car.

I was also very hesitant prior to deciding to do mine, but after I got it done I was very pleased with how it turned out. But just in case I would go with what everyone else is saying and just get an extra one to paint

indeed, my decision was easier than OP's though since my car is entirely silver/black, so it was a no brainer to just to go ahead and do it. I can see how it could be a difficult decision to make with a 35th anniversary SS

yea i can totally understand that. pretty easy tho if you just buy another panel and get it painted for free. then u can just swap out at will

You can get the panel at the junkyard for almost nothing.
