    That's a SS spoiler on a LS1.
What's the diff. between a Lt1, and a LS1 spoiler? None that I know of.

If you will look closely, the Red SS spoiler(LT1 version) doesn't have the 2 support bars by the LED light like the black SS spoiler(LS1 version) does have. The LT1 and LS1 SS spoilers are quite different. They both have a different LED light as well.

So, the differences are in the SS spoilers, but the Z28 spoilers are the same?

The lt1 also has alot less of flip up to it. Thats the best way i can describe it. But there is a definet differance between the two. The best way to describe a lt1 ss spolier in my opinion is it looks like a z28 spolier with just a little flip upwards in the back. The ls1 has much more of a flip on the back and has the two support bars and the led brake light like Y2KPewterSS said.

Yes the z28's are the same the ss are different.

It kind of depends on how well the paint has been taken care of. I believe the 3pc is held on with the same tape the side molding is. I would try taking one of the small side peices off first and see how it looks, I don't think it will be bad seeing as you have a white car.

the LT1 and LS1 are interchangable, but totally different like Y2k stated in his post...

personally, i would love to see someone cutoff the two vertical supports and re-fiberglass the Ls1 SS spoiler. hell even i have thought about doing it, just for a different cleaner look. maybe someday when i get a house, i will look into it...

now you're seeing where im coming from...

exactly as you described, but with the integrated LED 3rd brake light on the spoiler, not hanging down like it is on the LT1 style SS spoiler...

perhaps a phtoshop pic is in order...

IIRC The mecham Z29R spoiler has this look you are after. It does not have the pillars and the higher flip.
