Antenna Alternatives

I was wondering what some people have done (or ideas...) with deleting the antenna? I plan on filling the hole/shaving it but not sure what to do with the antenna.

I have one idea but wondering if it would work...when I was into Fieros I saw a guy on the Fiero forum shave the antenna hole but since the Fiero antenna is located on the front fender the guy just simply turn the mounting bracket sideways and hide the antenna in the fender and it still worked. Do you think this is possible with a Firebird (where does the antenna line run through...)??? Or what other alternatives do I have that will have the antenna hidden but still work/good reception? Thank you

When I used to do Security System and Firealarm installs I drove around a little S10 with a nice touchscreen. Anyway, the antenna was a very small wire that ran on the windshield. Basically looks like a rear defrost system, but you couldnt really see the wires because they were up toward the top of the window in the tinted area. Maybe something like that will work.

I'm pretty intersted as well, my antenna just went out and I really dont want to fork over the cash for a new one! Ideas' would be cool

Just get a hidden antenna. Autoloc sells em.

Me? No, I still gotta go pick my car up...Nothing to it...Just wire it into the headunit where the original goes and hide it where you like. Alot of people put em in the back window, inside of the bumper, etc.
