3rd brake, side markers, and tail lights blacked out.

So I got bored and decided to black out my tail lights and ad emblems to
third brake light and rear side markers.
I starter by sanding the third brake light and side marker molded writing off.

Then painted all lights with rust-oleum lens tint.

This is what they looked like after spraying, I only lightly passed over the reverse section of tail lights.

I then made and adjusted several time some logos. This is the actual size I used.

I very patiently cut out the logos using a hobby knife. Left part of the z-28 logo intact to make it easier to stick on the tail light.

Placed the logos on the lights and took of the rest of the z28 logo.

Next I painted the side markers and third brake light black.

Im letting them dry over night so I will post the final results tomorrow after work.

Sometimes I'm a little slow. Let me make sure I have this right. You tinted the lenses, put the emblems on and then spray painted them black. Do you plan on pulling the emblems off so just the tinted part shows?

Sounds like it will look good. Probably will not see the logos until the light comes on. Waiting on pics!

Nice work on the blackout. Need to see them installed on the car and with the lights turned on for the full effect.

Yes I am pulling the logo of so only the logo will shine. I'm still working on them. The thrid brake like came out great but for some reason the black did not stick well on the side markers. I'm sure its cuz its cold out. So i have to redo them.

Ok so here are some pics. I don't have any of the markers because I don't like how they came out so I'm redoing them.
