200+ mph speedo??
Ok, i have been looking around and have not been able to come up with anything,so i need help...I am wondering on how to get a speedo that reads above 155. It is not that often i get going that fast, but when i am on a back country road or at road america, i would like to know how fast i am really going.
So the question is: How do i do it and where can i get the parts to do it?
Thanks

I think Granatelli (sp) has a 200 mph speedo.

Granatelli does have the 200mph speedo, I checked them out before. They are about $320 and you have to take yours in to be calibrated. They specify that you make an appointment to do this.

it is a waste, but it looks kool and draws attention, and when the 455ci comes along, it may see speeds that high on a more steady basis. I was watching a special on the new c6 vette and the were at a steady 140 going around a road track...and that is the future of the car. so it will be functional...but i do appreciate suggestions and opinions

Why is it a waste?
It is not a waste. The part works spot on and looks cool too. It specializes the car and offers a unique feature and benefit
They look like factory and have no clouding like other aftermarket faces

Ive always wondered what the white one looks like at night, When i called a i spoke with a lady and she said that the gauges light up brighter and the same color as the factory cluster would. Do you have actual pictures of what the clusters look like at night? Im interested in a new cluster if you can help with the questions

I agree the blue looks crappy unless you have a blue car. It was supposed to be more royal blue and go after the Black and white cars. When I owned Paxton we offered a switch that would convert KPM to MPH. It was very cool, as you accelerated, when you hit 150mph the needle would drop back to 150 kph and the then the Needle would follow the KPH number but it was outputting in MPH. We sold perhaps 100 units and it never took off.
Ira from Camaro Electonics approached me and said he could calibrate 98 and up cars. We have had early cars call but they do work the same so blame GM for the change.
As for Silver, I can still do Silver but I need a 150 piece order and you guys could never get over 20
