    1" shorter A4 Shifter

I have always felt that the A4 shifter was too tall so i went ahead and cut about 1" off of it.
it is still 100% fully functional and 100% nicer IMO

Sorry for bad pictures it was too dark...
    Before i started stock height

    and 1" lowered!

no i dont have any pictues of the moding because i knew they wouldnt come out and my cutting job looks like sh*t...

    Looks good, ...,

I've got one already cut, available for sale over on LS1Tech under the same username.
I've cut about a half-dozen of them over the last year or so.

Go to Ebay & find the Grand Am boot too.
The cut shifter, even tho it's only an inch, really does improve the look with the stock knob & other knobs.
I found a used Grand Prix knob with the 'traction control' button in it, sent to a guy to have it recovered, & use the button for my line-lock now.

ya 1" makes a world of difference... my cutting job would of been way nicer if i would of taken the shifter out of the car! i left everything in the car and covered the interior so it was kinda tough doing it all inside the car!

I like how that looks. Good job. I too think the factory shifter is too tall.
