White car detailing
Is there a good wax for a great shine on a white car? Anything special to get that wet shine look?

I use the meguiars clay bar kit after a nice wash. I use the meguiars 3 step. I replace step 3 with NXT. That seems to do a good job and gives a nice shine. There are plenty of products to use. Some use zaino. A couple other good products are adam's polishes and tropicare. A friend of mine used Adam's products on his white C5. Gives a nice shine. For over the counter you can't go wrong with meguiars.

Alot on here will say Zaino. From what I have noticed on other cars it is a great product.
Now on to what I use. I first clay bar the car with the Black Magic Clay bar Kit. The Meguiars clay bar kit works very well also. Next depends on how the paint looks. First Meguiars Body Shop Professional Hand Polish (# 83 if remebered correctly)if the paint needs a little work. On top of that Show Car Glaze #7. I then use Mequiars Carnauba #23 (but I dont think you can find it anymore). All they have now is a High Tech Yellow which I would use. Carnaunba lets you build layers and gets that DEEP look IMO. To keep it looking good I use Mequairs NXT. You could always just clay, use the deep car glaze and finish with NXT.

Thanks! I've yet to wax this car...
I've been debating taking the red stripes off.

Thanks
Nah, they're pretty good. I think they have only been on there for a short time before I got the car though. My biggest challenge with them at this point, is bird shit LOL!
And, I stand out like a sore thumb around here too. Which depending on how you look at it, could be a good, or a bad thing
The best thing about them though, IMO, is that they are relatively inexpensive and easily replaced.
