Vinyl Stripes and Wax...
Well here is my problem. I have a 2001 ss camaro and I have 35th aniversary silver metalic stripes on my car. I was thinking of waxing my car but I dont think im allowed to touch the vinyl stripes with the wax. Am I wrong? Is there something else i could use? I want to get a nice shine for my car but I feel liek if i just do the left and right side panels of my car and not the hood or the back it will look off. What do you think I should do?

Nice Camaro!
What you mean by not being allowed to touch the stripes?
I don't think there would be any problems with putting wax over it...2007 Audi RS 4

You can definitely wax over the vinyl. It'll probably even help w/ them being affected by uv too! I always wax over the blk vinyl on my s10 xtreme and hav never had an issue
The only thing I would suggest is to just avoid going into or against the edges. It might make it difficult to remove the wax and thus result in a little white residue depending on what type of wax youre using. Just go w/ the stripe in those areas and you should be fine!Enter Forum Coupon Code LS1 for 10% off entire purchase.

Only thing I can think is that it might have some cleaners or abrassives in it and they're erring on teh side of caution
Here is a whole page of carnaubas for you.

Since you're looking for a pure wax (w/ no cleaners or abrassives) avoid, Moose wax. Additionally, dont look at the yellow cream wax or the red moose glaze either since they're glazes and dont offer as much protection as a standard carnauba.
The rest will look awesome on black. Personally, I'd suggest picking one from: nattys blue, nattys red, victoria wax red or yellow, p21s 100%, collinite 476 or 915, carnauba moose wax or migliore. enough choices?
