    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

    Exclamation ts|s Detailing VS 178k 4x4

1998 Silverado 1500 Z71, standard cab with 178,000 miles. The customer purchased the vehicle off of a young kid who obviously took it mud-bogging. Their major complaint was the interior's musty smell and the carpet's ragged look. They attempted to clean the HVAC and yanked the dash off so as to gain access-using bleach to clean all of the ports.

I gave them an estimate and told them it might take 2 days. I was lucky it was just the standrd cab!!! The pics will do most of the talking. Some of the colored stains WOULD not come out, but i think she looks much better for 178k, 13 year old 4x4!

Total time: 7 hours, enjoy the pix!

Very nice! You do the whole truck, or just the interior?

Just interior. They didn't have the budget for the rest of the truck. I would have made it look sweet though, it was NBM and swirled to hell.

Thank you. I got about 85-90% of it back. There were some misc stains that just wouldn't come out, but like I said, for the age/milage you're right that looks as good as it gets!

    Pretty much everything I had.

Plastic: scrubbed with Megs APC + horse hair brush, dressed with Adam's In and Out spray.

Carpet: Detail Kings carpet shampoo and Chemical Guys Grime Reaper mixed with a gallon of hot water and scrubbed with Flex DA and carpet brush. Then extracted with MyteeLite II

Seats: Sprayed with DK carpet shampoo/water mix from a trigger sprayer, then extracted.
