    Cool ts|s Detailing: 95 z28 restoration

I invite you to have a look at this FB page. This is a 95 Z28 that was in need of restoration b/c the clear coat was just hammered. The vehicle required a full body wet sanding, touch up + multiple steps of polishing to restore the luster. Wetsanding will not only remove the deep surface imperfections but also will eliminate GM's notorious "orange peel" effect in the clearcoat, providing a much sharper reflection.

This photo shows the difference between factory clearcoat and wet-sanded clearcoat. The wetsanded section reflects about 5x sharper and much deeper.

    $1000-$1500.

Just a heads up, b/c I know someone will say it. You CAN NOT get an orange peel-free paint job for that cost.

Anyway, I don't think you need an account to see that page-it's public. But to answer the questions:

Wetsand 1500 grit then 2000, Polished with Flex D/A and purple foam wool pad + M105 then with hydrotech Cyan + 105 then with hydrotech Tangerine + 205. Topped with Blackfire Wetdiamond paste wax

Just post it here like everyone else does, instead of sending people on a wild goose chase (no-pun intended ) trying to figure out what you did.

So, how do you like the Blackfire Midnight Carnauba Paste Wax?
I may order some next time.
    Keep up the good work!

I will agree with you there I charge between $2000 and $3000 for a full paint job with wet sand and mirror buffed finish. That's for same color and no body damage.
