My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
ts|s detailing: 03 Mustang Cobra
This customer had me do his taraus some weeks ago, shortly after he had me perform a Stage 3 correction to his 03 Mustang Cobra (engine, interior, paint, rims). I actually did this one at my house, which is always a pleasure. Car has 64k miles on it. It was painted about 3 years ago, so the swirls weren't bad at all, BUT the car sat under a tree for many months collecting pollen and sap etc. The trunk's sill was filled with mold and even had some (active) wasps nests...took care of those buggers with some CG Grime Reaper real quick.
Process:
Interior vac'd then scrubbed down with DP's total interior & horse hair brush
Carpets cleaned with Detail Kings' carpet shampoo
Interior dressed with Adams Leather conditioner
Engine degreased with CG's Grime reaper, washed, then dressed with CD2
Car washed with autogeek foam canon and DP foaming soap + clay bar then washed again.
Rims/fenders degreased with Grime Reaper and wheel brush, power washed clean.
Swirls removed with Flex 3401 and CG's all in one Polish/Sealant.
Wheel and trim shine with PROwax "Liquid Blue Ice"
Total working time: 10 hours
Custom Car Emblems from third_shift|studios

Not that i want to turn this into a "is it real" thread, but i questioned that myself. His dad was the original owner and then him. So everything is factory that's on it, accept the K&N intake and exhaust. I don't believe his year's had the S/c on it. Also there was a plaque on the head that had some "cobra" mumbo jumbo etched into it
yes, i did drive it, and frankly i think michelle's 2.3L fusion has more pep.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Good job, you do some fantastic detail work. That is probably more likely a 99 Cobra. It is real, just NOT an 03. The 99's had regular Mustang seats. The 01's were the first with Cobra special seats and COBRA instead of MUSTANG on the rear bumper, and the 03's were the first with superchargers.

Yeah man, definitely not knocking the results in any way. You made that car look a whole hell of a lot better.
Wish you lived closer, mine needs a Spring detail, and I haven't had the time with these 50-60 hour weeks... and it seems like it's raining every time I actually do have a chance

Car looks great. I don't do any interior or engines except my own and if you look under my hood it's been a while, can't even remember on my Ta, my 5.0 it has been like 5 yrs since a good degreasing and it needs a new interior. I need someone like you closer so I can have my engine and interior done on my 2 cats and trailblazer. I do strickly paint and body work but occasionally detail jobs, buy strictly exterior paint repair, clay bar, wet sanding and buffing and waxing or sealants. Gotta keep that tire wet and other silacone based products outta my shop, doen't go well with paint and clear. Keep up the good detailing, not many good places left to go. I had to repair some paint bens from a local car wash, they'll five any moron a rotary buffer and pad and just let the destroy my buddies EVO 8.
